Decide Where Your Gift Goes

Where Your Gift Goes?
It’s entirely your choice you tell us how you want your gift used. Whether you want it divided equally among two or more categories, or whether you have a special designation in mind we will accommodate your wish. Your gift will support only those areas you choose. For instance, if your gift is for scholarship assistance, it will not go to teaching and learning, but will support students deemed deserving of the assistance.

Gifts to the Fund for Gallaudet support all areas of greatest need identified by the University; however, if you wish to direct your gift exclusively to a scholarship fund, a program or training, please indicate your preference when you send in your gift.

You may want to designate your gift to one or more of the following areas needing support:

The Fund for Gallaudet The Fund for Gallaudet raises unrestricted dollars, ensuring the vital flexibility necessary for Gallaudet to respond to unique opportunities and establish cutting-edge programs. These are critical dollars to Gallaudet; we depend on them, and these dollars provide President Jordan with the strength he and his team need to keep Gallaudet ascending.

Scholarships To ensure that a Gallaudet education is affordable for qualified deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing students of all backgrounds, additional scholarship assistance is needed to support greater numbers of outstanding students in the years ahead.

Technology Though the new Student Academic Center is open, Gallaudet has identified additional funding needed for technology and equipment needs. Support in this area will help us provide the kind of learning environment our students can thrive in.
